Sizes & modes
The widget comes in five sizes and two layout modes — pick what fits each place you use it.
The widget adapts to where you put it. It offers five sizes and two layout modes; you choose which are available and the default in the Design Studio.
Five sizes
- small — a compact floating panel (the default).
- medium — a roomier floating panel.
- large — a generous floating panel for richer conversations.
- fullscreen — fills the viewport, for a focused chat experience.
- embedded — mounts inside a container in your page, always open, with no launcher.
Two modes
- normal — a single conversation column (the default).
- split — a two-pane layout with the chat beside a context or canvas pane, on sizes that support it.
Choosing what users get
In the Design Studio you enable the sizes and modes your users can use and set the default for each. The small size always floats in a corner; larger sizes render contained; the embedded size mounts into the element you point it at with data-mount-target.
