Signing in & workspaces

How you and your team sign in to the Syncanix dashboard, and how workspaces keep each account’s work cleanly separated.

The dashboard at app.syncanix.com is where you set everything up. Signing in takes a few seconds, and once you’re in you work inside a workspace — the container that holds your catalog, keys, settings, and teammates.

Signing in

Syncanix uses a hosted, secure login. You’re redirected to the login screen, authenticate once, and land back in the dashboard — no password is ever handled by Syncanix’s own pages.

  1. Open the dashboardGo to app.syncanix.com. If you’re not signed in, you’re taken straight to the login screen.
  2. AuthenticateSign in with the method your account uses. Multi-factor authentication is applied when it’s enabled for your account.
  3. Land in your workspaceYou’re returned to wherever you were headed, now signed in, with your most recent workspace already selected.

What a workspace is

A workspace is the home for one project or organization. Everything you configure — the catalog, widget designs, identity providers, API keys, billing, and team — belongs to a single workspace. You can belong to several and switch between them at any time.

Personal workspace
Created for you automatically on your first sign-in. It’s yours alone and is perfect for trying things out.
Shared workspace
A workspace you create for a team or organization, where you invite teammates and assign each one a role.

Creating and switching workspaces

  • Create a workspace from the workspace switcher in the dashboard header, or during onboarding — give it a name and it’s ready.
  • Switch workspaces from the same menu; the dashboard reloads into the one you pick, with its own data and settings.
  • Rename a workspace at any time — the name is just a label, so changing it never affects keys, data, or members.

Workspaces are isolated

Each workspace is sealed off from every other. Data, API keys, identity-provider settings, and conversations are scoped to one workspace and are never visible from another — even when the same person belongs to both.

Signing out

Sign out from the account menu in the dashboard. Your session ends immediately, and you’ll need to authenticate again the next time you visit.
