Privacy & your rights

How assistant memory is controlled, how personal data is handled, and how you and your end users can exercise GDPR and CCPA rights through the data request form.

Your end users’ privacy is yours to uphold, and Syncanix gives you the controls to do so: control over what the assistant remembers, careful handling of personal data, and a clear path to exercise data rights.

Assistant memory

You decide whether the assistant remembers an end user across sessions or treats each session as fresh. When memory is on, it’s scoped to each end user within your workspace, kept only with their consent, and can be cleared.

Personal data

Syncanix processes the minimum personal data needed to run your assistant, isolates it per workspace, and keeps it in the EU. Sensitive values are kept out of logs, and access is scoped to the request that needs it.

Data rights

Syncanix supports the core data-subject rights under GDPR and similar regimes:

Access
Ask what personal data is held about a person.
Erasure
Ask for a person’s data to be deleted.
Portability
Ask for a copy of a person’s data in a portable format.

Making a data request

Anyone can submit a data request through the Trust Center. Requests are verified by email and handled within the timeframe set out in our privacy policy.
